Open Settings > Downloads to find the two signed release artifacts used by Cybex. They have separate purposes and neither is a reusable organization installer ISO.

Workstation netboot bundle

Ordinary workstations install through a healthy Cybex James on the local network. James serves an immutable, organization-neutral signed release bundle containing the kernel, bootstrap initrd, and Nix store image.

Organization, device, and Blueprint information is carried only in a short-lived boot context. Manage therefore offers no workstation ISO or USB image to download. Open Computers > Add computers for the installation steps. Cybex James > Delivery > Computer setup files shows whether the shared files are ready; technical identities remain authenticated support data.

Cybex James appliance ISO

The James appliance ISO is separately signed installation and recovery media for the James appliance itself. It is not workstation installer media and cannot install an ordinary computer.

Open Cybex James and choose Download James ISO. Manage creates an organization-scoped session, injects its signed activation identity into the verified Ubuntu appliance ISO, and streams the personalized image to disk. Boot the James server with wired Ethernet and Secure Boot enabled. When it connects, complete the one safety check naming the exact disk James will erase, then wait while enrollment and service preparation finish automatically.

Choose Add or recover James… in the Appliance card to create separate session-provisioned media for another James or a recovery. Preserve CYBEX_STATE during recovery unless a full disk erase is intentional.
